Garland Commercial Ranges is looking for a Mgr. Key Account IV!
Under limited supervision, the Key Account Manager IV retains and strengthens client relationships through medium to long-term planning and face-to-face selling of products, services and solutions for Garland Clamshell Grills for a group of strategic clients. Responsibilities include preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers, identifying cross/up and repeat sales opportunities, resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality customer service, developing client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts, reviewing and reporting on customer retention, business opportunity and market trends.
Reporting to the Director, Clamshell Grills, this position is based in our Mississauga, Ontario facility. This is a full-time, permanent role that is an addition to headcount.
Major Accountability:
- Manage and oversee key accounts throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding new accounts to nurturing and developing them into established, long-term partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction and sustained growth
- Report account progress through regular meetings, presentations, and scorecards to ensure alignment and strategic growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and deliver customer-requested materials and solutions.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Maintains and increases sales by cultivating client relationships and meeting their operational needs.
- Resolves client issues, researches problems, and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or services.
- Responsible for the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes, profitability analysis and pricing negotiations.
- Duties may include developing medium to long-range sales plans and assisting with strategies to protect, diversify the relationship.
- Researches problems and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications.
- Coaches and reviews the work of less experienced staff.
- Create and maintain scorecards, communicating account KPIS
Qualifications
- Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Experience in QSR operations, ideally with experience working with franchisees, franchisor, and/or corporate.
- Excellent software applications skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
- Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience required.
- Working Conditions
- Heavy computer use.
- Normal office environment; must be able to sit for long periods
- Must be able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to travel as required globally (up to 20%).
