Plank is hiring a full-time Sr. Project Manager who is interested in making a significant contribution to both the company as a whole and to the work that we do.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Sr. Project Manager with a strong technical background to join our team. 


In this role, you’ll manage multiple digital projects using an agile-inspired methodology, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of designers, content strategists, front-end and back-end developers, and fellow project managers.

Your technical expertise and project management skills will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within scope.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing about 5 to 7 projects of various sizes and complexity
  • Serving as the main point of contact for our clients and assist in account management process
  • Working on Laravel and WordPress-based projects
  • Keeping project management tools and documentation current and organized
  • Creating and managing timelines, budgets, and scope documents
  • Working with the team to create quarterly business reviews
  • Supporting resource planning and forecasting needs across projects
  • Ensuring deliverables meet client expectations, are on time, and on budget
  • Leading sprint reviews as well as facilitating internal and client meetings
  • Providing written sprint reports to clients
  • Assisting with client invoicing and ensuring all relevant details are documented


Skills we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with a focus on agile
  • Solid technical background with Laravel and WordPress
  • Background in business, management, budgeting, and analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of project management software (eg. Productive, Asana)
  • Experience working with enterprise clients 
  • Experience with requirements gathering and user story development
  • Strong risk management and analysis skills
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure, both from clients and from team members
  • Five or more years of proven project management experience in software delivery


Bonus points for:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferably in computer science or engineering
  • PMP and/or PSM certifications
  • Agency experience
  • Experience with the Google Suite
  • Experience with supplemental tech stacks to the above
  • Bilingual in English & French

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
