Make an impact with our Enterprise Risk – Technology Risk Services team as a Consultant. This diverse team of professionals utilizes leading-edge industry knowledge to assist clients in mitigating risk. As a trusted advisor, you’ll establish an effective system of internal controls that safeguard clients’ assets, improve financial reporting reliability and maintain compliance. As well, design and execute Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) to solve complex audit problems.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing Enterprise Risk solutions including financial statement audit support using data analytics to our broad base of clients.
- Data management from various sources including flat files and databases
- Writing scripts to solve complex financial statement audit areas
- Responsible for understanding business processes and data flows and creating scripts that will verify the consistency with accounting standards
- Drive innovation in audit methodologies by leveraging data analytics and automation
- Evaluate the risks and the adequacy of controls associated with IT, applications, databases and interfaces and business cycle controls
- Review operating systems and application environments
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- CPA designation is desired
- 1 to 2 years of IT audit experience or relevant external audit experience
- Ability to read and interpret code
- Experience with Python, R, PowerShell or other scripting software is desired
- Experience with ACL, IDEA or equivalent is desired
