Your Main Responsibilities

  • Technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various mechanical building systems projects
  • Work as part of a team to carry out building-related mechanical systems design projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
  • Connect with clients to understand their needs
  • Survey existing installations
  • Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations
  • Draft pre-project studies and various types of client reports
  • Assess the construction cost budget, help set schedules
  • Write specifications and technical reports
  • Interdisciplinary coordination with external professionals
  • Provide assistance in regard to site supervision

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (specializing in building) or building engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design
  • Member of Engineers Nova Scotia
  • Good English writing and communication skills.
  • Leadership, versatility and autonomy
