You will have the chance to work on key infrastructures including
- Large and small diameter watermains and sewers
- Distribution and collection networks
- Pipe Rehabilitation
Key duties will include the oversight of
- Oversight of engineering calculations and drawing preparation (e.g. hydraulics, pipe design, fittings and reinforcement, material and equipment selection)
- Technical Memos, Reports, and Specifications
- Alignment selection
- Chamber/station layout and design
- Coordination of design with various stakeholders for permits and approvals

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience).
- Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as a professional engineer in the Province of Ontario
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in an engineering consulting environment.
- Understanding of relevant American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Hydraulic Institute Standards (HIS) an asset
- Experience managing and coordinating multiple disciplines on small to large projects, including the ability to successfully manage scope, schedule, and budget, an asset
- Experience in design of large and small diameter linear infrastructure
- Experience in trenchless design with methods such as HDD, TBM and MTBM
- Experience in condition assessment, rehabilitation, an asset
- Experience proposal preparation and lead, and asset
- Experience in Alternate delivery methods, an asset.
- Experience designing using Autodesk, Microstation software
- Experience using hydraulic modelling software an asset
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent report writing skills
