As the Solutions Manager for IS Finance, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day to day operations of a team of Business System Analysts, Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts, including recruitment, coaching and performance management.
- Managing an application development team through the inception, construction and transition to production phases within the Discipline Agile Framework.
- Overseeing the operational support of technology solutions to ensure Service Level Objectives and Service Level Agreements are met through effective incident, problem and change management.
- Assigning and monitoring progress of work performed by application development team across various development platforms, including but not limited to in-house systems, integration with third party technology systems and web applications.
- Providing technical leadership, coaching/mentoring and direction to an application development team, ensuring cost effective technology solutions are deployed that meet the business needs and solutions align with architecture/infrastructure standards and guidelines.
- Leading the organization through change, evolution and sustained growth guiding the convergence of existing systems with emergence of new modernized technology.
- Establishing strong partnerships with internal customers, stakeholders and external vendors; (includes senior leadership and executives).
- Ensuring development environments are managed to meet needs of various streams and multiple projects and developers; comply with security and privacy policies.
- Supporting program and portfolio planning.
We are looking for a proven people and technology leader, who can hire, guide, motivate and direct employees in the delivery of services. They will also need to hold employees accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of these services.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to translate requirements into delivery of actionable, high-quality solutions in alignment with business goals.
- A proven people leader with at least 3 years of people management experience (coaching, development and performance management).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience planning, designing and delivering solutions with proven delivery skills. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strategic mindset. Ability to solicit and interpret business requirements into technology solutions and capabilities.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders at all levels, including technology and business leads, privacy and security, senior leadership and external vendors.
- Confident and effective communicator with excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills at all levels.
- Understanding of technology concepts and how they pertain to business solutions.
- Experience working on large projects with knowledge and understanding of enterprise technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), API Gateways, Microservices Enterprise Data Big Data, Enterprise Identity and Access Management (EIAM), and Enterprise Portal Solutions.
- Experience working with application development and security frameworks for software and databases, and with familiarity of the following:
- SAP FI, FS-CD, MM, SD and SRM;
- Application Servers (i.e. WebSphere, etc.);
- Directory Services (Active Directory, SUN/UNIX, LDAP, etc.).
- Previous experience as a Techno-Functional Analyst supporting SAP Finance modules.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
- Knowledge of ITIL preferred.
- Preference given to candidates with SAP FSCD Technical and/or Functional experience.

Work Arrangements Defined
- Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia.
