Graduate Accountant

Responsibilities as Accountant (m/f/d):

• You process all areas of financial accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed assets & Treasury functions).
• You are responsible for the Dunning Process and Collections for the Americas.
• You perform the monthly general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliation (Prepayments, Accruals etc.).
• You provide support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• You support with the monthly intercompany billing and reconciliation.
• You prepare supporting schedules for tax returns and statistics, as well as support with master data maintenance and increasing the efficiency of accounting processes.
• You handle Sales & Use tax returns for the Americas.
• You assist with all other administrative tasks, e.g. travel expense reports, credit card postings and reconciliation.
• You administrate corporate group benefits.
• You assist with the processing of payroll for Canadian and US entity.
• You perform ad-hoc analysis, reports and projects as required.
• You take over other duties as assigned by the Manager Finance.

Qualification

• You have a diploma or bachelor’s degree and you are enrolled into CPA Program.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance.
• You have Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot & V-lookups) and experience with an ERP system.
• Previous experience in manufacturing industry can be an asset.
• You bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills with you.
• You show strong communication skills.
• You are a team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
