Our Client is a trusted renovation company dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and inspired design. We collaborate closely with our clients to realize their vision while minimizing hassle, undertaking projects ranging from custom-built homes to complete renovations.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and responsible Renovation Estimator & Procurement Coordinator to join our team. This role requires strong hands-on skills and a sharp sensitivity to numbers. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently preparing renovation project budgets, controlling costs, conducting on-site measurements, and coordinating material procurement. Your contribution will help ensure our projects maintain high quality while staying within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Create clear hand-drawn sketches to reflect site conditions and assist in initial planning
Support designers or project managers in confirming construction scope and identifying measurement discrepancies
Provide detailed itemized estimates (materials/labor/subcontracting), calculate profit margins
Update client proposals based on change orders or site conditions
Track cost deviations during execution and provide ongoing financial insight
Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers and job sites
Maintain accurate procurement records, manage invoices and payment documents
Continuously optimize supplier network for better value and reliability
Support on-site tasks such as material receiving, reconciliation, or urgent sourcing
When needed, help clients with material selection and clarify estimate details or project scope (in English and Chinese)
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in renovation, construction, or building materials
Strong knowledge of renovation processes and cost estimation
Familiar with a wide range of materials and reliable procurement sources
Able to measure on site and prepare clean hand sketches
Proficient in Excel or estimating tools (experience with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Joist, etc. is a strong asset)
Analytical mindset with strong numerical sensitivity and logic
Bilingual communication (English & Chinese) preferred
Valid driver's license and willingness to visit job sites and suppliers is an advantage
