Responsibilities
- Lead and manage medium to high-risk infrastructure and distribution customer connection projects (up to $50M) from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate and oversee cross-functional activities including engineering, construction, stakeholder engagement, procurement, regulatory approvals, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, and status reports.
- Monitor and control project performance to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and on budget, while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Maintain strong, professional communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, First Nations, and field crews to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Minimum 9 years of project management experience in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to work in a hybrid model at the Edmonds (Burnaby) office.
- Strong knowledge of distribution electrical systems and prior experience with complex customer connection projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); PMP certification is preferred.
