Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer:

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a 9-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer - Job Description:

This role focuses on designing and implementing Amazon Connect solutions for a critical contact center project. The project involves creating a cloud-based contact center platform using AWS services, with an emphasis on enhancing call flows, agent experiences, and data analysis capabilities.


Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level expertise in the AWS cloud platform
• Design, build, and support cloud environments for contact center solutions
• Lead the development and implementation of Amazon Connect solutions
• Monitor and assess application performance in a cloud environment
• Create, test, and implement data integrity and security safeguards
• Review production logs and provide proactive analysis and suggestions
• Document system design, integration, and implementation activities
  
  
  

Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer - Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery
• 5+ years of experience with AWS services including Lambda, AWS Connect, and API Gateway
• Extensive experience with Amazon Connect cloud-based contact center solutions
• Proficiency in AWS CLI, AWS SDK, and writing Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Gitlab
• Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices

Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Kinesis Data Streams
• Familiarity with container-based virtualization technology like Docker
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript
• Experience with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch and CloudTrail
