Project Manager

Project Description:

Our public sector client is in the process of developing a Salesforce-based case and care management application. This bilingual solution will serve citizens, vendors, and internal staff, supporting a broad range of functions including intake, assessment, care planning, inspections, and payments. The platform is being built to be flexible, scalable, and capable of meeting both current and future needs.

Role Overview:

To support the ongoing development of this application, the project team is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead scheduling, scope management, change requests, and status reporting within an Agile delivery framework.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading project initiation activities (e.g., initiation documents, scope definition, team setup, project kick-off).
• Conducting detailed planning for project activities (e.g., development schedules, milestones).
• Managing overall project delivery including resources, risk, issue, and change management.
• Providing ongoing project monitoring and control (e.g., regular status reporting, tracking risks and issues).
• Designing solutions aligned with user, process, technology, and data requirements.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and internal teams to define scope, gather requirements, and develop executable project plans.
• Leveraging data and analytics to support business objectives.
• Leading discovery sessions, documenting requirements/user stories, and organizing work into sprints.
• Preparing development-ready, scoped, and approved user stories with clear definitions of “done.”
• Coordinating across workstreams for complex deliverables.
• Managing scope, timeline, resources, cost, quality, risk, and communications for on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Driving structured project and steering committee meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Reporting progress and status to executive sponsors and leadership.
• Identifying non-technical risks and developing mitigation plans.
• Performing other related duties as required.
  
  

Mandatory Requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IM/IT.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-project environments aligned with strategic goals.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile full lifecycle delivery.
  
  

Scored Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Senior IT Project Manager overseeing system development and support.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams, including both internal and external stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience in organizational change management.
• 5+ years of experience in cost estimation, resource planning, and project scheduling.
• 5+ years of experience applying IT system concepts to business processes.
• Current certification: PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 (proof of certification required).
• 2+ years of Agile delivery experience covering Concept, Inception, Iteration, and Release phases.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French (verbal and written, or verbal only).
