One of the sunniest regions in BC’s Lower Mainland, Delta embraces three unique communities – Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen. The City of Delta is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and share in our commitment to lead the way in public service excellence.
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our Delta Fitness Team in the areas of Group Fitness, Dance Fitness, Yoga, and Pilates.
Candidates Must Possess a Minimum Of
One of the following: current BCRPA, Canfitpro, ACE, CSEP, CFES, ACSM or NSCA certifications
Current First Aid and CPR are required.
Preference will be given to those with 12 months or greater related experience.
Group Fitness
In addition to a valid group fitness certification from one of the above, we are seeking those with experience and specialty certifications in the following areas:

- Certification in Older Adult, Osteofit, Weight Training, Indoor Cycling, Fitness Boxing, Fitness Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Sport Conditioning, Suspension Training and or TRX RIP Training.
- Zumba Fitness, Zumba Gold, Zumba Strong and or Zumba kids
- Other Dance Fitness designations such as Pound, DancePI3Y, Bellyfit, GROOVE are additional assets we are seeking.
- For Yoga = Trained/ Certified by YogaFit or another Yoga Alliance accredited course provider; BCRPA Yoga Fitness Registration.
- Yoga Instruction in Power, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, lyengar, Pre-/Post-Natal, and other areas of specialization are desired.
- For Pilates= Stott Pilates Mat or BCRPA Pilates registration.
