Join a leading organization in the Oil & Gas industry as a SO2 Reduction Project Manager, where your expertise in quality management will drive the success of critical projects in Sarnia, Ontario.
Role Overview
- Establish working relationships with Quality contacts for all contractors and equipment vendors supporting SO2 Reduction Projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management system, including Quality Plans and Procedures.
- Interface with Engineering on the development and implementation of the Engineering Surveillance Program.
- Lead implementation of quality requirements for procured equipment and construction scope.
- Coordinate development and execution of the quality audit program for the Project.
- Ensure non-conformances and quality issues are identified, reported, and resolved.
- Establish and implement the project’s quality reporting and metrics program.
- Facilitate Project-specific Quality training and workshops.
- Provide quality input for Execution Proposal documents and participate in technical evaluations.
- Complete planning activities, including risk identification and updating deliverables.
- Quality Management Certification.
- ISO Quality Management Systems knowledge.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience as a Quality Manager/Lead.
- Experience in Refining or Chemicals Plant is strongly preferred.
