Summary: Nice Group Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory Specialist to support production by ensuring accurate inventory transactions, proper material allocation, and timely stock movements within the ERP system. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory and transaction accuracy, and coordinating with warehouse, production and shipping teams to ensure smooth operations.
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 CAD annually, depending on experience
Location: Dorval, QC, Canada.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform item reallocations in the ERP to ensure correct parts/components are assigned to the actual Sales Orders being fulfilled and Work Orders being completed in the system.
- Support the Shipping Dept. on transaction related manners based on shipping priorities.
- Support the Production Team in closing Work Orders by posting accurate inventory transactions and providing ERP guidance and support on demand.
- Monitoring the receing process of the transferred inventory from the external warehouse (as well as customer returns) to make sure all steps are correctly followed and accurately and promptly reflected into the ERP.
- Ensure that received materials are physically moved and placed to the correct production area for timely use.
- Perform inventory cycle counts regularly at the main production site to maintain accuracy.
- Identify excess or non-critical inventory and coordinate its return to the external warehouse.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or system mismatches to ensure reliable stock visibility.
- Proactively monitor and improve inventory accuracy KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement and Planning to align on material availability, planning changes, and potential disruptions.
- Maintain clean data in the ERP related to item locations and quantities.
- Escalate system or process issues that may affect shipping activities or production execution.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in inventory control, procurement or planning, ideally within a manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Well organized, detail oriented, and a team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment.
