Geller’s is an award winning design, build and maintenance landscape company completing both residential and commercial work. While we specialize in luxury, resort style residential outdoor spaces, we complete projects both large and small in both residential and commercial sectors.

Position Overview:

We’re hiring a Landscape Designer to join our award-winning landscape design team. Based out of our Exchange District studio and Shelmerdine Garden Centre satellite office, you’ll work directly with clients to bring stunning outdoor environments to life. This role blends creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration to drive the design and estimating of luxury residential and innovative commercial landscapes.

You’ll apprentice with seasoned professionals, have the opportunity to work toward your professional landscape architecture stamp, and contribute to projects that keep Geller’s at the forefront of the industry. At Geller’s, we value putting people first.


What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with clients and team members to design, revise, and estimate high-end landscape projects
  • Liaise between departments to ensure project feasibility, profitability, and timeline accuracy
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and by-law offices via phone and email
  • Ensure project delivery meets high-detail regimented standards and client expectations/budgets
  • Track costs during construction to maintain budgets, and assist in future quoting for accuracy and efficiency
  • Generate accurate purchase orders to avoid material delays
  • Survey project sites and develop 3D models, identifying constraints and opportunities
  • Create and distribute detailed job folders to project managers
  • Problem solve daily issues that arise with clients or on job sites


What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design is required, additional education would be considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 License and access to a personal vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
  • High level of organization, motivation, and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of luxury landscaping and construction practices in Manitoba
  • Proficient in Vizterra, LMN, ClickUp; Vectorworks is a strong asset
  • Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings, grading plans, and blueprints
  • Willingness to work some evenings or weekends, based on project demands


Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, year-round employment
  • Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
  • Hybrid: Work remotely 2 days per week
  • Occasional weekend or evening work depending on project timelines
