They are looking to expand their growing family at Due North Mechanical, and are currently hiring for a dependable and driven Plumbing Apprentice, for a full-time role in their tight-knit company, located in Ayr, ON.

What We’re Looking For:

• A dedicated and dependable 1st - 4th Year Apprentice
• Ability to form strong customer relations through excellent service and communication
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment and independently
• A gas and backflow license is preferred but is not a requirement.
  
  

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Applying experience and technical knowledge to efficiently complete plumbing jobs
• Troubleshooting, problem solving, and conducting repairs to piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
• Assessing blueprints & drawings to determine system requirements, locations of fixtures & sizes
• Installing and repairing hydronic heating systems and gas fired appliances
• Working in Residential, Industrial, Commercial, and Agricultural environments
  
  

What We Need from You:

• At least 1 year of construction experience
• Plumber apprentice (AP)
• Gas G2 or G3 license (or willingness to pursue)
• Valid (G) driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
• Willing to work on remote job sites (room and board will be provided)
• Your own hand tools and steel-toed safety boots
