We are currently looking forfull timeWarehouse Associates, who will be working at our Edmonton branch five days a week fromMonday to Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment;
  • Operate a variety of equipment to unload and load and move products;
  • Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products;
  • Process incoming requisitions which include picking, checking and packing orders;
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents;
  • Shipment of orders;
  • Restock bins;
  • Maintain and organize inventory;
  • Use the inventory control system to locate information, search orders or investigate discrepancies;
  • Clean warehouse constantly;
  • Other general warehouse duty as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs;
  • Musthave minimum 1 year experience on Reach Truck and 1 year experience on Order picker, industrial lift trucks and pallet jack;
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Ability to work at a fast pace;
  • Significant use of memory;
  • Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and scan gun picking will be an asset;
  • Team player with a positive attitude;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Steel-toed safety boots required;
  • One year of related experience will be an asset as we will train.
