C/C++ Developers - Contract - 18072

About The Opportunity

Our reputable Ottawa based client has an Immediate requirement for several Intermediate and Senior C++ Software developers. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-established Organization that is embarking on multiple long-term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on C++ development experience, ideally working on mission critical systems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide system life-cycle support for operational and non-operational systems
• Assist in requirements analysis and specification writing and management
• Assist in the analysis, development, and implementation of software solutions for new requirements and identified deficiencies
• Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design and develop and troubleshoot applications
• Assists in maintaining the software development environment
  
  

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Degree from a recognized university or community college with an acceptable specialization in computer, electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science or information systems
• Must have 5+ years hands-on experience developing applications utilizing C/C++ in Linux environments
• Knowledge of Golang, JavaScript is an asset
• Must have experience with multi-core, multi-threaded programming and experience with server class machines
• Candidates with any of the following experience will stand out – Signal processing, Defense, Mission critical systems, EW, Real-time systems, Embedded systems, Algorithms, Network programming, and System integration
• Ability to work onsite and must be eligible for Secret and/or Controlled Goods clearance
