Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team for local deliveries throughout Greater Montreal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 53-foot refrigerated trailer, handling refrigerated goods, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53-foot refrigerated trailer for local deliveries within Greater Montreal.
• Manage and maintain refrigerated cargo, ensuring proper handling and temperature control.
• At time may be required to load and unload your own truck, including handling freight in the warehouse when necessary.
• Use forklift equipment to assist with loading and unloading (forklift license required).
• Perform basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance on the vehicle.
• Assist with warehouse tasks when deliveries are not scheduled.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
• Experience with refrigerated trailer operations.
• Knowledge of local routes within Greater Montreal.
• Forklift license is required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
• Ability to load/unload cargo independently.
• Strong safety and customer service orientation.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, with Saturday availability preferred.
