About The Opportunity

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for creating reports, designing dashboards, and validating data to help inform business decisions. This role will play a critical part in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive business growth and efficiency. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and align with the company and operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI apps and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
  • Build and maintain Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps integrated to operational systems to enhance user experience and automate repetitive tasks
  • Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Merge legacy SQL and .csv data sources with Dataverse repositories into Power BI apps and paginated reports
  • Maintain and migrate legacy Excel reports and workbooks using Power Query connections to Dataverse
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify relevant metrics, KPIs, and business needs
  • Gain a deep understanding of company operations to provide meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to drive business improvement
  • Experiment with new technologies and propose use cases to enhance data analysis capabilities
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation for data sources, metrics, and KPIs
  • Participate in the ongoing evaluation and improvement of ERP systems, data collection, and reporting processes

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Experience with SSRS reports
  • Experience developing custom data connectors and working with APIs
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, including the ability to design data models, integrate various data sources, and leverage Dataverse for complex data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends and patterns
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
