Quality Assurance Coordinator

*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Quality Assurance Coordinator position! This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office and can be based in either Edmonton, AB or Calgary, AB. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Establish and maintain quality standards and metrics for the QA process, including testing methodologies, tools, and defect management strategies.
• Create integrated test plans that align with project goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including development, product management, and operations teams, to facilitate test plan development and smooth test execution.
• Execute testing following test plans and/or coordinate business tester activities.
• Capture and accurately document test results for analysis and reporting.
• Compile and present test results to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
• Assist in refining QA processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Source, prepare, and manage data required to execute test scenarios effectively.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Certified Practitioner).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA role.
• At least 3 years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software testing within an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in sourcing and managing data for test scenarios.
• Deep understanding of SAP CRM in customer care and campaign management.
• Experience with Salesforce is an asset.

Pay Range: $40-$50/hr CAD

Location: Hybrid in Edmonton OR Calgary

Duration: 12+ months
