Job Description As a Marketing Data Analyst supporting our North America performance marketing teams, you’ll act as a marketing analytics consultant and play a key role in shaping strategy by uncovering the story behind the numbers. From analyzing campaign and channel performance to delivering insights marketers can act on, you’ll help ensure every decision is grounded in data and geared for impact. Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in marketing data analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for marketers.
  • Experience using marketing analytics tools and dashboards to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Solid understanding of marketing metrics, forecasting, and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Consultative approach with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels and guide discussions using data.
  • Proactive, resourceful self-starter who takes ownership and works independently to solve problems.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to explain data-driven findings to non-technical teams.


Location Requirement: Hybrid; 3 days per week from our Toronto office

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional performance (demand generation) marketing teams to understand business questions and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance data to identify trends, surface opportunities, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Extract, clean, and manipulate marketing data from various sources to support reporting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Forecast key marketing outcomes, such as campaign response rates, customer churn, and influenced revenue, using historical data.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly communicate campaign effectiveness and marketing performance metrics.
  • Support a culture of data-driven decision-making across regional marketing teams by ensuring timely access to relevant insights.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role. For this role, in those locations, the target base salary range for new hires is C$70,000 to C$90,000. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in a bonus plan (15%) based on company and individual performance. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific opportunities on our bonus or incentive programs. The range listed is just one component of the Sage total compensation package.
