How You’ll Make An Impact
As a Blender you will be creating high-quality lubricant products by blending approved raw materials in accordance with company procedures—ensuring we meet customer expectations and business goals.
Responsibilities Include
- Blending and producing finished lubricant products by following established procedures and reviewing process orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing inbound raw materials, including coordinating bulk deliveries and maintaining communication around packaged raw material and component inventory levels.
- Conducting in-house testing using an auto viscometer, preparing blend samples for analysis, and accurately logging results into quality management software.
- Coordinating outbound distributor loads and overseeing proper handling and documentation of outbound waste materials.
- Supporting additional operational requirements as needed to maintain smooth workflow and production efficiency.
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment, and proactively identifying and reporting potential safety concerns.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Pevious experience in chemical/batch blending in a fast paced plant environment
- Proficinecy in SAP. Knowledge of TDG & GHS, strong communication skills, fork lift proficiency,
- Ability to lift/move 50 lbs on a day to day basis, material handling of raw materials, and product hoses.
