This Product Marketing Manager role is accountable for development and execution of the marketing strategy for our data management portfolio, including products such as MX Deposit, Imago, and Central.

As a strong, strategic product marketing manager, you’ll be a primary advocate and domain expert for your portfolio, and you’ll ensure the voice of the customer is consistently front of mind in everything you do. You’ll be required to take technically complex information and turn it into positioning that differentiates Seequent from its competition, messaging that’s meaningful to target audiences, and content for marketing campaigns and sales enablement. You’ll do best in this role if you thrive in an ever-evolving, global, and fast-paced work environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and continuously evolving the product marketing strategy for our data management product portfolio
  • Go-to-market strategy development and execution
  • Conducting customer, competitor, and market research and turning findings into actionable insights for your overall product marketing strategy and go-to-market plans
  • Defining clear and impactful product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and differentiates us from the competition
  • Collaborating with digital and field marketing teams to deliver campaigns that promote product adoption and usage
  • Educating and enabling internal teams so that our positioning and messaging is consistently and effectively communicated at every customer touchpoint
  • Developing content for both external and internal audiences, including product briefs, white papers, battlecards, and sales narratives
  • Persona development, in collaboration with the User Experience (UX) team
  • Contributing to product naming and commercialization decisions

Qualifications and skills include:

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing roles (B2B software and/or SaaS experience an asset)
  • A degree in business, computer science or a related field
  • Expertise developing global campaign content
  • Experience with modern digital marketing tactics such as ABM, optimizing content for SEO and social media
  • Understanding of B2B buyer personas and customer journeys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create compelling marketing content and interact with stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills to oversee marketing campaigns and product launches in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze customer and product insights and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve product marketing strategy
  • Strategic and creative thinking without fear of trying new things or making mistakes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external vendors
  • Ability to build rapport with and influence senior leaders in the business

Additional Information

Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch or Vancouver Office three or more days per week.
