DESCRIPTION

Within the Human Resources team, the Human Resources and Benefits Coordinator will be the main person responsible for managing employee benefits. This person is also responsible for managing and handling data in the various human resources management systems. They will also collaborate with the human resources team on various projects

.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer the complete management of employee benefits (group insurance and pension plan, vacation, sick leave);

• Follow up on absences, both short and long term, with the employees concerned and the insurer;

• Manage the HRMS; data entry, mass changes, data integrity, production of monthly reports, collaboration with developers during problems, updates or projects;

• Produce various reports with the HRMS or Excel as required for human resources management

• Support employees during retirement and carry out administrative follow-up with them;

• Offer a front-line service to active employees and retirees for all questions related to benefits;

• Support the team in recruitment and performance management;

• Participate in the integration of new employees;

• Participate in various projects with the human resources team.



QUALIFICATIONS

• College diploma in a relevant field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in benefits management.



SKILLS

• Knowledge of current legislation related to their expertise in the various provinces.

• Interpersonal skills, agile organization of tasks, attention to detail and a proactive and motivated attitude.

• Knowledge of NetSuite, UKG and ADP Workforce (an asset).

• Expert level of Microsoft Office environment.

• Main tasks of the job are carried out in French and English, in terms of collaborating with and supporting colleagues and clients based across Canada.
