Overview:

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining master data processes and system information. You will play a key role in ensuring integrity of material masters and bills of materials in SAP. You are able to work independently with responsibility for master data processes and governance. This role reports to the Senior Data Compliance Specialist.


You are detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for material setups of a wide variety of raw materials and finished goods, across multiple production facilities. Experience in updating master data within an ERP ecosystem (ie. SAP) is most beneficial. Opportunities to participate in special projects may arise, such as system upgrades (S4/Hana), potential acquisitions, and new software implementations.


Key Ingredients:

  • Maintain material master data, bill of materials, routings. Calculate impact of changes and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Manage GS1/1WorldSync process to upload new product data (Global Trade Item Numbers), maintain current product data, and assist in image certification
  • Participate in budget and year-end processes, setup and enter new material standards, and active in cost rolls
  • Maintain vendor master creation/maintenance and other master data using a ticketing system,
  • Assist in external reporting processes


Recipe for Success:

  • Preference will be given to those with a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Understanding of Master Data/Data Governance/Data Compliance
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Word
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively (spoken and written) cross functionally with all areas of the organization.
  • Experience with SAP, worked in manufacturing/CPG environment or exposure to Product Costing
