  • This position has been evaluated with an annual base salary range of $52,000-60,000 CAD. The target hiring range is $52,000-57,000 CAD, ensuring room for continued growth in remuneration through annual performance and compensation reviews.

The Role

As a Deal Desk Coordinator, you are a vital member of the Global Deal Desk Team that contributes to the success of our Sales Team by following our Deal Desk systems and processes to ensure that closed/won opportunities are processed appropriately and efficiently within our business systems.

Core Responsibilities May Include

  • Supporting the initiatives of the Deal Desk Team in the review, approval, and documentation of complex sales deals.
  • Review and analyze complex sales deals to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Document all non-standard pricing and contractual terms.
  • Track the progress of deals through the approval process and provide regular updates to the Sales Team.
  • Develop and maintain deal management tools and processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Deal Desk team.
  • Follow data-hygiene best practices by entering accurate and timely information into CRM System.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely entry of Purchase Orders/Orders into the SAP Business System.
  • Verify and update customer information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, review purchase order against original quote to ensure deal accuracy, and resolve any discrepancies identified in cross-check through direct communication with customer prior to submission to Planning & Finance.
  • Responsible for obtaining customer system information for accurate data capture of product service plan information.
  • Resolve and/or coordinate resolution of various problems/questions/details encountered in the processing of deals, including changes to orders, ship date/expedite requests, purchase order clarifications/discrepancies, account discrepancies & internal approvals and escalations as necessary.
  • Provide direct customer service as required by following up with incoming inquiries, questions, concerns, etc. (phone, email and chat) on a timely basis.
  • Ensure timely documentation and/or communication of all issues, problems, changes, etc. as required and/or appropriate.
  • Develop deep and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Deal Desk systems and processes. Document, maintain and consistently apply standard processes and make recommendations for process improvement as appropriate.

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required; two (2) year post-secondary education in a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience related to the core responsibilities of the position.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual with minimum one (1) year of experience in related fields such as direct sales, retails sales, sales administration, or sales operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and CRM Systems.
  • Willingness and ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of sales tech stack business tools, Zetron product line, sales cycles, and sales operations team workflows.
  • Exceptional speed, accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain performance in fast paced, high stress environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communications with ability to convey information clearly and accurately.
  • Understanding of basic Project Management concepts.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with ability to self-initiate/manage.
  • Work well independent with little or no supervision as well as be a contributing member to the team.
