What you will be doing:

  • Lead the planning and forecasting process and provide insights to optimize vendor programs
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to the trade agreements
  • Conduct vendor due diligence, including scorecards and annual reviews
  • Manage and collaborate with the Category Management team to ensure vendor compliance with contract terms, conditions and modification of terms
  • Develop and maintain Vendor Management Process and Procedures to ensure consistency and maximum output from vendor returns
  • Develop and /or improve processes to ensure efficiency and internal controls.
  • Develop high quality reports and dashboards for various levels of Category Management i.e. Vendor scorecards, sales vs. profit
  • Work with the auditing firm (PRGX) to maximize audit revenues
  • Approving and tracking cash billings in WorkflowGen
  • Monitor, forecast and budget Merchandising Cost Centers and Capital budgets


How you will succeed:

  • University Degree in business field such as Finance or Accounting.
  • 5-7 years of experience in retail/merchandising analytics
  • Knowledge of vendor negotiations in the retail industry
  • Experience implementing process improvements impacting a large work group
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; with the ability to communicate effectively across a large number of diverse internal groups.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. for large amounts of data)
  • Experienced in handling multiple data sources to produce simplified outputs
