Position Overview:
The Finance Manager, Sales & SRM will play a critical role partnering with the Sales Organization to support driving strategic business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the Canadian retail environment, trade management and complex pricing dynamics. This role will have financial accountability over the performance of the Sales P&L as well as budgeting, forecasting and execution of Trade & Pricing Activities. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration to deliver strong accuracy, meet fast-paced timelines, all the while driving performance through clear insights, actions and accountability. The role offers great developmental opportunities in a high growth environment and will have one direct report.

Role Accountabilities:
1. Business-Driven Partnerships
o Leads the sales team in identifying and pursuing opportunities that maximize shareholder value; influences to develop and execute long term strategies.
o Drives sound financial business insights and recommendations that lead to decisions that balance P&L performance while remaining competitive externally.
o Thought leadership to encourage ROI mindsets through trade investments & price mix for the portfolio with ability to identify and influence solutions.
o Partnership to drive action & accountability in trade management through effective tools, communication and prioritization.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Lead the topline budgeting and forecasting processes through S&OP Cycle with strong communication across the organization.
o Business mindset with ability to highlight prioritized financial objectives, while driving clear accountability and ownership to support business growth.
o Identify and manage risks, ensuring corrective actions are taken, when necessary, through balanced and clear recommendations.
3. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
o Timely delivery of financial reports, highlighting variances and providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
o Analyze financial performance by customer, with a deep understanding of trade investments & pricing performance – internally and externally.
o Develops value-added insights through financial reporting tools, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor sales performance.
4. Financial Modeling & Scenario Analysis
o Build effective and sustainable financial models to support decision-making related to business initiatives, pricing activity and trade investments.
o Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various strategies
o Create innovative solutions to dynamic business needs that are effective, simple and sustainable.

Candidate Profile:
Professional Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 5-8 years of various experiences in finance, with at least 2 years’ experience in revenue management with an in-depth understanding of the Canadian Retail food environment.
- Proven ability to build trusting relationships at all levels and across all functions; ability to effectively communicate and influence business strategy & execution
- Strong track record of operating with gold-standard finance partnerships with an ability to influence senior leaders on the direction of the business.
- The ability to synthesize complex matters into simple and attainable solutions
- Experience in a dynamic commercial facing role, with in depth knowledge of inflationary and market pricing environment.
- End-to-end experience managing trade investments leading to strong forecasting accuracy and effective deduction management.
- Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment through an ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment, while delivering against goals.
- Bilingual EN/FR an asset
