Associate Tech Architect- SAP Datasphere Consultant

Role : Power SAP Datasphere Consultant – L5

Location : Calgary, Canada

Job Summary:

An experienced (8-10 years) SAP Datasphere Consultant to design and develop/implement/optimize data models, data flows, and data integration processes using SAP Datasphere. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for SAP Datasphere solutions. Utilize SAP Datasphere to integrate data from various sources, including SAP and non-SAP systems.

Years of experience needed – 8-10 years.

Technical Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Reporting tools with at least 1 end to end implementations.


• SAP Datasphere Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere concepts, functionalities, and best practices.


• Data Warehousing Experience: Experience with data warehousing solutions, such as SAP BW/4HANA.


• Data Modeling and Design: Proficiency in designing and implementing data models for data warehousing and analytics.


• Data Integration and Transformation: Experience with data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data replication.


• ABAP Knowledge: Familiarity with ABAP for custom enhancements, reports, and data transformations.


• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.


• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.


• Strong experience in understanding business users’ expectations.


• Experienced in creating technical design documents from the functional specification documents.


• Capability to provide high level and detail estimates.


• Knowledge of the Railway business is preferable but not mandatory.


• Assess business requirements & processes and provide recommendations on optimal solutions that will best serve the business needs.
