About The Role

Strategic and relationship-driven Account Director will lead one of our largest enterprise clients: a Fortune 200 brand undergoing complex digital transformation. This account includes interconnected workstreams across commerce, customer experience (CX), strategy, design, and agile delivery.

As Account Director, you’ll be both a trusted advisor and delivery orchestrator—responsible for growing the account, scaling our delivery pods, and ensuring value realization across each initiative. You’ll operate at the intersection of client ambition and Tidal’s capability, backed by a cross-functional team from across the Umbrella ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Account Growth & Strategy

  • Deepen strategic partnerships with VP, SVP, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Expand Tidal’s footprint across lines of business and digital domains.
  • Drive YoY revenue growth of 30–50% through new initiatives and cross-sell.

Delivery Orchestration

  • Oversee 4–6 concurrent digital workstreams (e.g., commerce replatforming, CX design, personalization engine).
  • Ensure integrated, high-performance delivery across pods and partner teams.
  • Own account-level governance: QBRs, executive reviews, program roadmaps.

Strategic Integration

  • Align all delivery efforts to the client’s transformation roadmap.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across strategy, design, engineering, and staffing.
  • Lead quarterly strategic planning and value realization sessions.

Team Leadership & Talent Stewardship

  • Inspire, mentor, and align cross-functional delivery leads within the account.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and team pride.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and practice leaders to scale teams with top-tier talent.

You Bring

Experience

  • 8+ years in client-facing roles with enterprise clients (ideally Fortune 500).
  • 5+ years in a digital consultancy, Systems Integrator, or technology-led agency.
  • Proven success growing large-scale accounts ($5M–$25M+) through delivery and relationships.
  • Domain knowledge in commerce, CX, or digital transformation is essential.

Skills

  • Gravitas and EQ to lead C-level relationships and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery models, pods/squads, and client governance.
  • Financial and commercial acumen: forecasting, pricing models, and revenue growth.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity, create structure, and deliver outcomes under pressure.
