We require the talent of a Production Supervisor to join our talented Leadership team, who will be responsible to lead and motivate the team in accordance with safety, production, quality and waste key indicators and compliance.

7pm - 7 am availability
We require the talent of a Production Supervisor to join our talented Leadership team, who will be responsible to lead and motivate the team in accordance with safety, production, quality and waste key indicators and compliance.

- 12 hour Continental (7:00PM to 7:00AM)
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Lead a positive change effort to improved performance by motivating, recognizing and inspiring others to be effective and efficient in their activities;
- Promote safety programs and policies in order to reduce employee accidents and injuries by providing safety leadership and enforcing safety practices;
- Translate production requirements into daily work schedule and direct staff in the execution of the work to achieve KPI targets related to productivity, quality, efficiency, cost, and health and safety;
- Develop, direct, manage, train, and motivate employees by communicating job expectations, appraising results, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees in a timely manner;
- Cooperate and coordinate with peers and internal departments and services to minimize downtime and breakdowns to maximize production of quality product;
- Provide technical support and expertise to the team;
- Increase employee engagement through participation in continuous improvement and lean tools (housekeeping, feedback, report problems, participate in problem solving sessions).
- Post secondary education in Leadership, Maintenance or Technology, with previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment who can set expectations and deliver accountability;
- Continuous learner with a willingness to embrace change and participate in a change effort and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Communication skills to deal with a variety of front line supervisory issues in a unionized environment;
- Results oriented, thrive in a fast-paced demanding environment and has the ability to develop positive working relationships with all employees;
- Union experience required
