Position Overview

The function of the AR Administrator is to support the Accounts Receivable team to ensure

customers are billed in an efficient and accurate manner, that collections are monitored,

and issues are appropriately addressed. The AR Administrator is responsible for obtaining

invoice approvals/signoffs (both internal and external), ensuring invoices are submitted to

customers (as per customer instruction), and for completing follow-ups for invoice

payment. The AR Administrator is the champion of customer invoice collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer invoices are correctly processed, including entering invoices into 3rd party portals (Open Ticket, Open Invoice, Ariba, Cortex, etc.)
  • Address and correct discrepancies in accounts or billings; assist in the resolution of disputed items with customers while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Make collections calls/follow-ups to customers
  • Prepare and distribute documents on a regular basis (AR Statements, Payment Change Notifications, On-Hold Customer lists, etc.)
  • Ensure customer records are accurate and maintained in Business Central
  • Timely escalation of issues that are not being resolved to the Corporate Controller
  • Participate and support ongoing continuous improvement projects
  • Other general administrative tasks assigned from time-to-time

Qualifications

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or other administrative position considered an
  • asset
  • Proven organization skills and an ability to prioritize
  • Proven team player, able to maintain a positive attitude and flexible approach under pressure
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and/or Accounting Software, Business
  • Central experience is considered an asset
