We are looking for a forward-thinking Director of Payments Innovation to develop and test new payment capabilities that push boundaries and expand opportunities expanding our payment volumes, increasing revenue, and reducing risk. This role is responsible for identifying disruptive concepts that grow payment volumes while co-managing development efforts with Product and Technology teams.
As a key stakeholder in our payments strategy, this leader will shape new initiatives and will work closely with our Account Managers (AMs) to understand the voice of the customer (VOC) and with our product and technology teams to execute the vision. The position will also collaborate with our M&A Leader to identify acquisition opportunities that drive new payment growth.

- Expand payment volumes through creative, strategic payment product advancements
- Increase payment revenue by developing lower cost methods of payment
- Enhance payment risk and security through innovation solutions or partnerships
- Partner with Product Management and the Account Management team to ensure solutions align with customer needs
- Work alongside Product & Technology teams to shape and prioritize initiatives
- Work with the M&A Leader to identify potential acquisitions that support long-term payment expansion
- A strategic thinker with experience in product development or strategy consulting
- An innovation leader with proven exposure to innovation management
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, especially working cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and M&A teams
- Payment experience is preferred but not required—the ability to drive innovation and strategy is more critical
