Oracle Developer:

On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for an Oracle Developer for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.


Oracle Developer - Job Description:

Our client. is looking for an Oracle Developer to join their IT team to maintain and enhance their custom-built financial systems. The role involves working on Oracle PL/SQL and Delphi, contributing to the development and design of MSSQL Server Database, and participating in agile development practices.


Oracle Developer - Responsibilities:

• Uphold the division and client’s reputation and values in all interactions
• Maintain and enhance in-house custom-built financial systems using Oracle PL/SQL and Delphi
• Contribute to the development and design of MSSQL Server Database
• Translate business requirements into functional software product solutions
• Actively participate in agile development practices
• Adhere to the enterprise architecture roadmap
• Write reports and internal tools for business needs
• Perform various assigned tasks as requested by management and executives
  
  
  

Oracle Developer - Mandatory Skills:

• College or University Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or comparable experience (5+ years)
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience
• Good understanding of database development and administration fundamentals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Self-motivated with a passion to learn and a drive for success
  
  
  

Oracle Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Delphi and Pascal
• Experience with MySQL and MSSQL
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL DB
• Experience with React Native / ReactJS
• Financial applications experience
