How you’ll make a difference
In this role, you’ll support clients across Canada and beyond with hands-on accounting services that keep their careers running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing invoices, billings, and tour reconciliations
- Handling payroll calculations and government remittances
- Preparing external filings (GST/HST, T4s, T5s, etc.)
- Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations
- Supporting clients with everyday financial questions and planning
- Learning the nuances of business management accounting — where no task is too small, and every detail matters.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who’s energized by client service and loves the entertainment space. You’re likely to succeed if you bring:
- 1+ years of bookkeeping experience (CPA-EVR route friendly)
- A keen interest in supporting artists and the entertainment industry
- Experience or familiarity with Sage, Excel, and Xero — and strong overall bookkeeping fundamentals
- Intermediate Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’ll be dealing with agents, managers, and high-profile clients
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A sense of accountability and confidence to own your work
- Enjoy the idea of heading out to local shows or festivals after work
