Davidson & Company is seeking a Senior to join our Audit practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in all phases of audit engagements, which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits
  • Thoroughly document audit procedures and findings using the Firm’s established methodology
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members to ensure their professional development
  • Research and analyze financial statement and audit-related issues
  • Proactively engage with key clients to gather necessary information, resolve issues, and recommend improvements to business processes
  • Provide accounting insights to clients in a clear and concise manner, including insights into complex accounting issues such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, business combinations, and internal controls
  • Utilize thorough understanding of IFRS and generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and CPA designation (or equivalent) required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of audit & accounting experience in public accounting
  • Thorough understanding of IFRS and generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills internally and externally to deliver superior client service
  • Strong project management and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen sense for detail
  • Computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software, Caseware, and MS Office applications

Salary

At Davidson, we value consistency and transparency regarding compensation. The annual salary for this position is $75,000 – $90,000.
