Reporting to the Leader of Enterprise Applications - Platforms team, the primary focus of this role is to build a strong SAP Technical Operations practice along with SAP Environment Management and technical strategy by enhancing technical capabilities & processes.

About The Role
Reporting to the Leader of Enterprise Applications - Platforms team, the primary focus of this role is to build a strong SAP Technical Operations practice along with SAP Environment Management and technical strategy by enhancing technical capabilities & processes.
Accountabilities
- Lead SAP Tech Ops & Strategy team of 4+ team members.
- Manage SAP Environment usage and availability while managing stakeholder relationships
- Work with SAP Teams to maintain 12 month operational rolling plan for SAP systems
- SAP system refresh - end to end ownership of delivery and requirements
- SAP Technical Strategy and roadmaps while working closely with architecture and other IT groups.
- BTP Administration - Observability, Standards, governance, Strategy, Transport management
- SAP Transport/Change management (on prem and cloud) - technicality & process
- SAP Monitoring - oversight and standardization within organization, SAP EWA status of key SAP systems, vulnerability/hot news oversight.
- Overarching SAP operations while working closely with ATB’s technical operations team to standardize workflows and processes.
- Demonstrate strong subject matter knowledge in critical areas of technology - SAP Basis, ABAP development, Cloud Platform Administration, Transports/Change Management, ITSM, technical solution capabilities, emerging technologies, governance and strategy
- Rationalize/Optimize SAP tools - Activecontrol, Gold Client Copy, Libelle Data Masking, Solution Manager etc.
- Formulate, implement and adhere to processes that deliver proactive and timely documentation updates, housekeeping and KPI reporting
- Coordinate project and operations work for SAP system touch points, upgrades and enhanced maintenance implementations while managing multiple priorities at the same time.
- Participates in both internal and external regulatory/vendor audits.
- Work with IT security, network, hosting, and application teams/partners to align with all best practices, compliance with industry standards/applicable certifications and provide quality and efficient end-to-end solutions.
- Lead or participate in decision making, determining objectives and approaches with multiple options for key deliveries.
- Lead, develop and engage direct team members in career development through support for professional growth opportunities.
- Very strong interpersonal skills are your forte, including communication skills (written and oral), listening skills, and ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all ATB Team Members.
- Demonstrate organized, detailed and objective oriented work style.
- 15+ years of SAP Experience primarily in BASIS and Technical Operations space.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Architecture, integrations, monitoring and future roadmap.
- Hands on experience in technologies such as: BASIS, S/4 HANA, UI, Monitoring, Transport Management, BTP Administration, System Refresh, Security, ABAP
- Basis hands on experience including design and operations of high availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Working knowledge of SAP Solution manager, Cloud ALM and any other monitoring/testing/automation solutions.
- Familiar with cloud hosting models in multi cloud environments along with network administration knowledge
- Previous experience working with security on internal and external audits.
- Able to gather and present required data for informed decision making.
- Excellent documentation skills for solution designs, integrations, configurations, procedures and runbooks.
- Strong prioritization, problem solving, technical troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
- Persuasive, professional communication style. Capable of communicating complex, technical topics to a wide variety of audiences. Ability to interact with senior management and influence decision makers.
- 3+ years of leading and managing team members, contractors and 3rd party resources
- Demonstrated expertise in mentoring and sharing technical expertise with team members.
