Job Description: The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements: European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any For more information: http://www.civiweb.com/international/default.html (in English, German, Italian and Spanish) The contract duration of VIE is 24 months.A VIE in Cloud FinOps model analyst has arisen within Airbus Commercial Canada, in MirabelYou will be an integral part of our Hosting and Platforms team in North America (Canada), with a responsibility to get the most value of every dollar we spent in the Cloud & to bring your knowledge to continuously innovate and improve our path on cloud financial controls and optimization, while helping to drive a culture of accountability regarding efficient cloud usage/spend. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be a key contributor to maturing our FinOps practice, by driving the adoption of FinOps best practices through governance, standards, policies, and education that will guide efficient cloud investment. Tasks & accountabilities Your main tasks will include:

• Analyze, optimize, reduce and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends and anomalies
• Build automation that optimizes the cloud environment
• Create financial and usage dashboards
• Work with our technical teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-efficient way
• Work with the financial teams on budget, forecast, and expenses reports
• Work closely with our finance and legal departments to negotiate cost terms and contracts

Required skills You have the following skills and experience:

• Math skills or a background in finance
• AWS, GCP, Azure are not mandatory but willingness to learn
• A love of data and driving business outcomes with it

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

• Highly organized
• Detail-oriented
• Clear, effective written and oral communication
• Excellent Communication, both written and oral, in French and English

Vous ferez partie intégrante de notre équipe “Hosting & Platforms” en Amérique du Nord (Canada). Vous aurez pour mission d'optimiser chaque dollar investi dans le cloud et de mettre à profit vos connaissances pour innover et améliorer continuellement nos contrôles financiers et notre optimisation du cloud, tout en contribuant à instaurer une culture de responsabilisation en matière d'utilisation et de dépenses cloud efficaces. Il s'agit d'une opportunité passionnante pour une personne motivée de contribuer activement à la maturation de notre pratique FinOps, en favorisant l'adoption des meilleures pratiques FinOps par le biais de la gouvernance, des normes, des politiques et de la formation qui guideront les investissements cloud efficaces. Tâches et responsabilités Vos principales missions seront les suivantes :

• Analyser, optimiser, réduire et mettre en uvre des mesures d’optimisation des coûts sur différents services cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Mettre en uvre et gérer des outils automatisés pour identifier les tendances et les anomalies de coûts
• Développer une automatisation optimisant l’environnement cloud
• Créer des tableaux de bord financiers et d’utilisation
• Collaborer avec nos équipes techniques pour concevoir et mettre en uvre de nouveaux services de la manière la plus rentable
• Collaborer avec les équipes financières sur les budgets, les prévisions et les rapports de dépenses
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec nos services financiers et juridiques pour négocier les conditions de coûts et les contrats

• Vous aimez analyser les tendances des dépenses, rechercher des opportunités d’économies et proposer des services de conseil avec des recommandations d’amélioration spécifiques.
• Vous souhaitez collaborer avec des équipes pour influencer la stratégie, les tactiques et l’exécution de l’utilisation du cloud.
• Vous savez parfaitement traduire les exigences des équipes de développement en solutions cloud rentables.
• Vous avez le sens du partenariat interorganisationnel et animez des discussions sur l’optimisation des coûts.
• Vous êtes motivé(e) à apporter des éclairages stratégiques et des recommandations pratiques.
• Vous maîtrisez la gestion des livrables de manière autonome et efficace.
• Vous maîtrisez le développement et la gestion des indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) FinOps et le reporting.
