TAQA North is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and actively support the team and Manager through completing the following responsibilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Supply Chain Manager by preparing compliance and supplier spend reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations that align with department objectives and audit requirements.
- Take ownership of all Supply Chain reporting, including the development and maintenance of dashboards and system tools that support data management, supplier analytics, compliance metrics, and audit obligations.
- Contribute to process alignment and governance improvements by proactively addressing system-related issues and supporting Supply Chain’s continuous procurement-to-pay improvement journey.
- Support the provisioning, upkeep, optimization, and process enhancements for the Maximo procurement module, RFx tool, and associated Supply Chain applications.
- Deliver systems and reporting training to TAQA North users on Supply Chain processes, reporting tools, procurement procedures, and item master data management activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders by offering responsive support and troubleshooting for Supply Chain reporting, system, and data challenges.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain team members to support analytical requirements during sourcing and procurement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and IT, working closely to align business practices with the Enterprise Asset Management system and reporting tools (PowerBI).
- Partner with IT to define and implement business and system processes that support accurate reporting, data integrity, and effective system integration across Supply Chain platforms.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, technical diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar business analyst supply chain-focused role is necessary.
- Experience with procure-to-pay systems, preferably Maximo, and a strong understanding of supply chain procurement and sourcing processes is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in all deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to various audiences.
- Proficiency in supplier spend reporting and PowerBI, with the ability to create, analyze, and interpret complex analytical reports.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated initiative, strong communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with integrated system approaches, ideally supported by training or certification in related systems, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Relevant technical certifications, designations, or demonstrated skillsets are valuable.
- Experience in the oil and/or gas industry is considered an asset.
