Clinical Teaching Associate (CTA)

The Standardized Patient Program is hiring for the specialized role of Clinical Teaching Associate (CTA). These are individuals trained to teach learners obstetrics and gynecological history taking skills, and how to perform pelvic and/or breast exams through demonstrations, and learner hands on practice from the patient’s comfort perspective. 

Responsibilities

Providing direction and guidance to learners as it relates to sensitive teaching materials.

Give learners an opportunity to practice examination techniques.

Provide a patients comfort perspective with the teaching experience. 

Qualifications

Understanding of reproductive anatomy.

Willingness to complete necessary training for the role.

Comfortable with teaching sensitive exam material.

Clear and concise verbal communication.

Discretion and sensitivity.
