Experience:

  • Must have A minimum of a three year college diploma (computer science or other IT related field; OR a university degree at the Bachelor level in Information Technology or other IT related field; OR A minimum of LEVEL years (in the last 15 years) work experience in the IT field.
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with all of the following specialties: Experience with Cloud Architecture, Expertise in Business Analysis and writing of a business case, Experience with M365 tenant management practices and tools


The scope of work of the Contract includes, but is not limited to:

The Level 2 Network Analyst professional will be expected to execute the following tasks during this contract, but not limited to:

  • Assist in defining architecture foundation leveraging, storage and network services (including network security).
  • Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements.
  • Identify the policies and requirements that drive out a particular solution.
  • Ensures the integration of all aspects of technology solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
  • Provide information, direction and support for emerging technologies.
  • Perform impact analysis of technology changes.
  • Provide support to applications and/or technical support teams in the proper application of existing infrastructure.
  • Review application and program design or technical infrastructure design to ensure adherence to standards and to recommend performance improvements.
  • Analyze research findings to formulate recommendations; and
  • Perform architecture impact assessments on new or changes to architectures and designs.
  • Provide the target blueprint for technology innovation that will serve as a baseline to establish buy versus build decisions for cross-departmental solutions.
  • Work with other architects to determine client's current state and determine how to integrate it with delivery models and integration strategies.
  • Facilitate a strategy, direction, and architecture for, but not limited to, some of the following IT drivers:
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Telecommunications and/or Network Architectures
  • Data Centre Architectures
  • Distributed Computing Architectures
  • Review system development and provide advice on all aspects of the systems integration strategies.
  • Provide prototype technology architecture to support the technology vision.
  • Plan and participate in the proof-of-concept solutions and proof of product evaluation.
  • Deliver technology architecture design, technical design and component design.
  • Assist in establishing design standards, guidelines and principles.
  • Provide model and document current technology architecture; design future state technology architecture based on business strategies and needs, as well as the technology framework architecture.
  • Define transition steps and plans to move from current to future application architectures, including interoperability with existing applications and migration strategies where applicable.
  • Assist in reviewing and defining functional requirements, user interface designs, usability reviews, performance reviews and operability reviews.
  • Report methodology compliance and reuse profile as defined.
  • Identify tasks and track progress within the required area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team of specialists.
  • Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems.
  • Coach, mentor and train the organization to perform any of the above.
