Role Overview
As a Licensed Industrial Electrician at TMMC, you’ll be part of our Skilled Trades team. You’ll improve equipment performance and breakdown recovery, while also leading continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll be empowered to think critically, troubleshoot complex problems, and make a direct impact on production efficiency in a highly automated, fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
- Operate within a multi-skilled team to maintain machinery and minimize production disruptions
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment unique to automotive manufacturing
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated equipment to achieve uptime and performance targets
- Work in a 3-shift rotation at either our Cambridge or Woodstock facility

What you'll bring
- A valid Ontario or Inter-Provincial Electrician Certificate of Qualification (442A or 309A / Red Seal)
- Completion of a registered Electrician Apprenticeship OR 5+ years of licensed Electrician experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience in an automated manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation
- Availability for rotating shifts and ability to work at either the Cambridge or Woodstock location
