Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Proposals
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscape construction projects
- Break down project scopes into labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Use Landscape Management Network (LMN) to build job budgets
- Assist the sales/design team with accurate and timely pricing to support project close rates
- Produce construction-ready landscape plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Lumion
- Create complete job packages for field crews including plan sets, takeoffs, work area breakdowns, and material specifications
- Coordinate with project managers and foremen to ensure plans are understood and buildable
- Attend site visits to gather information and verify conditions
- Participate in client and internal meetings as needed
- Adjust estimates and construction plans based on client input and site requirements
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in landscape estimating and/or construction design
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD & SketchUp)
- Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and crew-ready job packages
- Familiarity with labor/equipment/material costing and project budgeting
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Landscape Management Network (LMN)
- Knowledge of plants, hardscape materials, and construction techniques
- Background in design-build or landscape construction environments
- Dental care
