Airswift is seeking an Intermediate Planner to work for a major Oil & Gas client on a 1-year contract, with possibilities of being extended. This role will support their operations in Calgary, AB.

Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in a project environment in the energy sector
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Projects, Omega Project Information Management System, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Excel.
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
- Multitasking, ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with the ability to adapt to change, think on your feet, and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Knowledge or experience in the midstream industry is desirable.
- Post-Secondary education in related field such as business and/or engineering.
- AACE Certification and/or P. Eng with APEGA is desirable.
- Coordinating the overall project schedule activities for a pipeline project.
- Prepares, presents, and obtains approval of the overall project schedule.
- Prepares and obtains approval for the Schedule Basis Memorandum.
- Assumes the responsibility for the preparation, quality and accuracy of all project schedules.
- Provides liaison and guidance to project management on matters relating to schedule.
- Identifies and prepares variance reports on schedule deviation and its impact with regards to the end date and interim milestones.
- Make recommendations regarding schedule recovery and the resources required to achieve recovery.
- Makes sure examples of all schedules plus descriptions are gathered in a proper format for inclusion in the Project Controls closeout report.
- Understands and can use Primavera P6 Project Planner and critical path method planning (CPM).
- Will make judgment decisions regarding the analysis of data obtained from a variety of sources.
- Identifies adverse schedule conditions from collected data and makes recommendations for improvements.
