About The Role

Procom is seeking a
Senior Courseware Developer for a Federal Government client to lead the design and development of training programs within a highly secure, technology-driven project environment. This role focuses on analyzing training needs, crafting performance-based learning materials, and supporting the rollout of IM/IT systems to end-users. The successful candidate will be an expert in instructional design principles, with a strong track record in IM/IT training development and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and training performance analyses.
  • Plan and monitor training rollout activities for large-scale IM/IT projects.
  • Perform job, task, and content analyses to inform curriculum development.
  • Develop criterion-referenced and performance-based learning objectives.
  • Recommend instructional strategies and media based on learner needs.
  • Create standards for performance measurement and evaluation.
  • Design and develop training materials and documentation using MS Office tools.
  • Prepare and support end-users through courseware implementation.
  • Communicate effectively in visual, written, and oral formats for diverse audiences.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of courseware and training deliverables.
  • Present training materials and status updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare documentation to support knowledge transfer and project continuity.
  • Draft briefing notes, meeting materials, and track action items.
  • Analyze target audience characteristics to tailor training effectively.
  • Provide regular status updates and progress reports to project leadership.


Requirements


Mandatory

  • 10+ years of experience (within the past 15 years) conducting needs assessments and training analyses for IM/IT projects.
  • 6+ years of experience (within the past 15 years) planning and managing training rollouts.
  • 6+ years of experience (within the past 10 years) developing courseware and preparing end-users for training implementation.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in science, engineering, or IM/IT disciplines.
  • Professional certifications in Courseware Development
  • Certifications in Adobe Captivate, RoboHelp, or other instructional tools
  • Experience using Adobe Captivate, RoboHelp, or equivalent tools (8+ years preferred)
  • Strong command of MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Additional Experience:
  • Over 10 years of experience in courseware development and training delivery for IM/IT systems
  • Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM???????
