Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Cloud Product Manager will lead the development, strategy, and optimization of our reserved and on-demand cloud service offerings, focusing on delivering scalable, customer-centric solutions for high-performance computing (HPC) and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with market insights to craft innovative AI cloud products that meet evolving customer demands while driving business growth and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

  • Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for both reserve and on-demand cloud services, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
  • Develop strategies to integrate high-performance compute solutions with scalable cloud environments, including Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct competitive analyses, market research, and customer interviews to identify gaps and opportunities for innovation in cloud offerings.
  • Monitor industry trends in HPC, and AI cloud solutions, leveraging insights to maintain competitive differentiation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional product launches and enhancements.
  • Partner with operations to ensure seamless product implementation and optimal customer experiences.

Customer Focus

  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are prioritized in product development cycles.
  • Create customer feedback loops to refine and enhance product offerings continuously.

Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud services, from ideation to sunset, ensuring profitability and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track product success and implement iterative improvements.

Desired Skills, Qualifications And Competencies Include

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in cloud services, HPC, or SaaS industries.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing cloud-based products or services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and workload management systems.
  • Familiarity with datacenter operations and colocation services is a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across diverse teams and audiences.

The IREN Package

  • Salary starting from: $140,000 dependent on skills, experience and location

  • Vancouver hybrid work model (in office Tues-Thurs and as required), remote may be considered.
