About The Role
As a software engineer on the Transaction Monitoring team, you will build backend features and platforms that oversee AML vendor performance, regulatory reporting, and the implementation of controls to ensure our customers are keeping in compliance. This includes developing systems that support Know Your Customer requirements, onboarding and evaluation of AML vendors, and building out centralized reporting capabilities across markets. Your systems will be the reason we can operate in every market we serve.
You will become a product expert and have the opportunity to influence key decisions that shape the charters you work in. You will build features that hundreds of thousands of customers work with every single day. Your day to day work will have a direct impact on our customers and business. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager in Vancouver.

About The Role

You Will
- Design, build, and maintain scalable systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Lead technical discussions, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, improving system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: Go, Java, Kotlin.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
