FortisBC is seeking Gas Fitters to support its AMI project in Victoria, overseeing gas meter installations and contractor work. This temporary role through 2027 combines field leadership, safety compliance, and stakeholder coordination. Ideal for candidates with gas fitting credentials and project oversight experience, it also offers flexible work options within British Columbia.

What You’ll Need

• Diploma or degree in a related discipline
• 4–7 years of field leadership or related experience
• Preference for Gas Fitters ticket
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Familiarity with FortisBC safe work practices
• Auditing, inspection, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Certified Member of ASTTBC or equivalent
• Quality assurance or audit background
• Effective stakeholder communication and conflict resolution skills
• Experience with AMI systems or meter installations
