Network Support Specialist
Our client is in need of a Network Specialist to provide support for the engineering evaluation, design and implementation activities for a Directorate General Military Communications and Space Systems (DGMCSS) project.
This DGMCSS project is a capital project to design, procure and implement a modern deployable enhanced Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) capability which will enhance surveillance and domain awareness, expand intelligence analysis, support military operations, and ensure interoperability with Canada’s close military allies. Both Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) will need to be evaluated/tested/integrated and the resulting best fit solutions will be implemented to address the new system and the sustained functionalities of the existing capability that needs to be carried forward.
Scope
The scope is to assist with the design, procurement, test and validation activities, integration/implementation, and transition planning for phased rollout deliverables. Test and validation activities will be conducted on the test bed, and when testing cannot be fully validated in the evaluation environment or during the phased roll-out, the in-service production environment will be where the work is performed.
The nature of this work requires a project environment in which much of the work is classified. Projects in this category could involve systems processing Secret, Top Secret (TS), and/or Special Intelligence Information.
